Este martes se realizó en Buenos Aires una celebración especial como antesala de los premios People’s Choice Awards 2022, que una vez más celebrará todas las formas de entretenimiento, elegidos íntegramente por los fans. El encuentro reunió a las estrellas locales más destacadas que representan lo mejor del año en películas, televisión, música y cultura pop.
Jimena Barón se presentó en vivo sorprendiendo a todos los asistentes con sus más recientes hits mientras que Lizardo Ponce se lució como gran nominado a la categoría Influencer Latino del Año 2022. Así como también, la artista chilena Emilia Dides sorprendió haciendo un dúo junto al artista trap argentino Estani.
Por la alfombra roja desfilaron celebridades como Guillermina Valdés, Flor Torrente, Mike Amigorena, Sofia Zamolo, Sofia Jujuy, Axel, Ruggero Pascuarelli, Fabián Medina Flores, Matilda Blanco, Benito Fernández, Patricio Sardelli, Malena Narvay, Camilú, Belu Lucius y muchos más brillaron como grandes homenajeados de la noche.
Los premios People’s Choice Awards 2022 se transmitirán por E! Entertainment desde el Barker Hangar en Santa Mónica, California en vivo el martes 6 de diciembre a partir de las 23:00. Será una celebración de la cultura pop, al tiempo que reunirá a la industria del entretenimiento y sus fanáticos para honrar a los campeones y artistas más destacados.
Entre los muchos nominados de 2022 se encuentran los íconos del cine Brad Pitt, Jennifer López, Dwayne Johnson y Viola Davis, las estrellas de televisión Selena Gomez, Sterling K. Brown, Ellen Pompeo y Quinta Brunson, los creadores de éxitos Harry Styles, Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, BTS y Bad Bunny, y sensaciones de las redes sociales como Addison Rae y Charli D’Amelio.
Mientras que Ryan Reynolds será reconocido al recibir el Premio Icon por sus contribuciones al cine y la televisión. La compositora, rapera y actriz ganadora de premios Emmy y Grammy, Lizzo, recibirá el premio The People’s Champion por sus contribuciones innovadoras a la música y la televisión, así como por su compromiso de defender la diversidad e inclusión en general a través de la raza, el género, la sexualidad y el activismo corporal. Y la superestrella global cinco veces ganadora del premio Grammy, Shania Twain, recibirá el premio Icono de la música.
