Sochi Results Help Infostrada Sports Hone Approach
(ATR) As is true for the athletes, improvement is always one competition away for those projecting the Olympics.
Twenty-six NOCs to win medals in Sochi
With just over four weeks to go before the 2014 Winter Games begin in Sochi, Infostrada Sports’ Virtual Medal Table is projecting 26 different NOCs to win medals. This would be a record equalling performance as there were also 26 represented on the podium in Torino 2006 and Vancouver 2010.
Norway to top medal table in Sochi
With exactly four months to go before the start of the Sochi Winter Games, Norway is forecast to win 37 medals – 15 gold, 12 silver and 10 bronze – according to the Infostrada Sports Virtual Medal Table. The Norwegians will therefore have their best Games ever and equal the most medals won by an NOC at a Winter Games, set by the USA in 2010.
