Ten-man Servette and Genk played out a 2-2 draw in the return leg of their UEFA Champions League 2nd qualifying round tie on Wednesday at Cegeka Arena, sending the tie to penalties where the visitors ultimately prevailed 4-1 to advance to the 3rd Qualifying Round.

Timothé Cognat also netted for the home team, with Tolu Arokodare on target for the visitors.

Servette were dealt a blow when Enzo Crivelli was shown a straight red card after just five minutes.

Trésor broke the deadlock for Genk after 28 minutes from the penalty spot, with the midfielder slotting his spot-kick to the upper left corner after Daniel Muñoz drew a foul from Bradley Mazikou. However, that lead did not last long as Cognat, who beat the goalkeeper with a deflected effort, hauled the sides level eight minutes later.

Arokodare, steering home a header following a corner, then edged Genk back in front with 51 minutes gone, with Trésor this time the provider. But any hopes of the home team claiming a win were dashed as Bedia netted an equaliser 12 minutes later.

A wastefulness in front of goal impacted both sides in the game, Alexis Antunes spurning a big chance for Servette, Genk rueing a lack of composure from Anouar Ait El Hadj and Matías Galarza.
