Finalmente llegó la esperada noche de The Game Awards, el show de premios más popular de la industria de los videojuegos. En su edición 2021 vuelve a la presencialidad de la mano de desarrolladores, celebridades, artistas y figuras destacadas alrededor del entretenimiento y la cultura pop. Geoff Keighley, su máximo responsable, anticipó más de 40 anuncios aparte de los premios a los mejores videojuegos del último año.
Antes de comenzar siquiera el pre-show de THA, Halo Infinite ganó el premio Player’s Voice, elegido por la audiencia en votaciones a través de redes sociales en las últimas semanas. El exclusivo de Xbox ganó un día después de su lanzamiento oficial, aunque la beta multijugador había llegado algunas semanas antes. La ceremonia se puede ver en vivo desde el pre-show a las 18.30 (MX)/ 21.30 (AR) en los canales de YouTube, Twitch, Facebook y Twitter de The Game Awards.
