The famous band Intocableb returned to the stage after stopping their performances due to the pandemic caused by the COVID-19 virus, since last Friday 22 and Saturday 23 April, the group arrived again at the imposing Domo Care in the city of Guadalupe, Nuevo León.
Thus, before his presentation, vocalist Ricardo Muñoz mentioned to the press how happy they were to play again in front of all his people:
“It is always a pleasure to return to Monterrey, it is a place that loves us very much and the same, we love them very much, and we are happy, and apart from that we had this already scheduled since 2020 and finally these dates are coming to pass”.
He also commented on the unfortunate issue of disappearances in the country, since he confirmed that the whole state, including the group, is in mourning after this situation.
“I know that we are in mourning here in Nuevo León, I'm not very aware of what happened, but it's a shame, isn't it? Imagine, just because you're a woman, taking care of you even more, it's hard, isn't it? I hope all that problem will be solved, soon, really. Let something be done, that justice be done, that something be done”, said Ricardo Muñoz to the media.
So, when opening its presentation, the group dedicated several words, as well as themes for the deceased Debanhi Escobar and María Fernanda, who were victims of femicide in Nuevo León.
“All the girls who come in a group, come together and come back together”, was the message with which they opened their first concert that night.
Subsequently, Untouchable used the theme Day 730 to remember all the women who have disappeared, where the image of the 18-year-old girl, Debanhi Escobar , as well as that of María Fernanda were the protagonists of the huge screens of the venue, since the song talks about a 17-year-old girl who disappears, leaving his mother waiting for his arrival.
On April 8, Debanhi Escobar attended a party with her friends in a Quinta de Escobedo, Nuevo Leon; 13 days later, her body was found in a cistern at Motel Nueva Castilla, a few meters from the road where a driver took his last photograph.
What happened between the early hours of April 9 and the afternoon of April 21 was described as “a massive human failure” by Aldo Fasci, the Secretary of Security in the State of Nuevo León.
According to Debanhi's family and other agencies, the investigation into the disappearance of the 18-year-old girl is full of inconsistencies and omissions. “I was wrong to trust the Prosecutor's Office, I apologize,” said Mario Escobar, father of the law student at the Autonomous University of Nuevo León (UANL).
This Saturday, April 23, 2022, Debanhi was buried in the municipality of Galeana. So far, the authorities still have no arguments to explain what happened or how the young woman ended up in the cistern of a fenced motel.
Likewise, María Fernanda was found lifeless by the authorities of Nuevo León on Thursday, April 7, as they assured that investigations into the case began on the 4th of the same month, after they had been pointed out by the alleged inaction in the case by a group of protesters in the state capital.
The last time the young woman was seen alive was on Sunday, April 3, when she went with a group of friends from Tecnológico de Monterrey, the school where she studied, to Zona Tec, located in the south of Monterrey.
