“Tomorrow”: the doors of the afterlife opened on Netflix

The fantasy series stars a renowned k-pop figure, the idol Rowoon

Now more than ever, K-drama lovers will be able to enjoy a new production with the South Korean label on Netflix. Tomorrow, is a drama and fantasy series starring singer Rowoon, member of the K-pop band SF9, broadcast since April 1, 2022 through MBC, and internationally broadcast on Netflix. The fiction is made up of 16 episodes.

We tell you a little about the story

Converted into a half-human and half-spirit by accident, a young man is hired by a company of grim reapers in the underworld to carry out special missions. Choi Joon-woong suffers an accident and becomes a half-human, half-spirit being. The young man joins an underworld crisis management team called Zumadung, commanded by a grim reaper or angel of death, Goo-ryeon. The fiction is based on the webtoon “Naeil”, which in Korean means “Tomorrow”.

Reparto

The cast of this production has caused a sensation since they were released. Kim Hee-sun plays Goo-ryeon, angel of death and leader of Zumadung, Kal So-won is Goo-ryeon, the girl, Rowoon puts herself in the shoes of Choi Joon-woong, the new employee of Zumadung. The cast is completed by Lee Soo-hyuk as Park Joong-gil, strict leader who guides the dead, Park Sang-hoon: Joong-gil as a young man and Yoon Ji-on, Lim Rung-gu, member of Zumadung.

About the Rowoon phenomenon, he is a 25-year-old South Korean model, actor, presenter, broadcaster and singer. He has been a member of the SF9 band since 2016. With an imposing and slender figure of 1.9 meters tall, the story has been featured in Korean Netflix dramas such as The King's Affection.

The series was created by Studio N and developed by Hong Sook-woo (of MBC), while the series is directed by Kim Tae-yoon and Sung Chi-wook, who are supported by screenwriters Park Ran-i, Park Ja-kyung and Kim Yu-jin.
