The presenter Carlos Vargas revealed the reason why he is no longer on La Red: “I'm very happy, it's a great project”

The famous entertainment and show host Carlos Vargas, recognized for being one of the figures of the program broadcast on weekends on Caracol Television called 'La Red', will have a new project that will take him to digital platforms, which is why he will be absent from the gossip program.

The recent broadcasts of 'La Red' have seen model and actress Shirly Gomez instead of Carlos Vargas, this has generated many suspicions in the show's viewers, who thought that even the host had irrevocably resigned.

Well, thanks to different Instagram posts, the reason for Carlos Vargas's absence from the set of Caracol Televisión became known. It's all because the host along with other celebrities starred in the 'reality' format program 'The Great Pastry Chef: Bake Off Colombia'.

“Hello girls and boys, this is the project that kept me quiet, it is called “THE GREAT PASTEMAKER BAKE OFF CELEBRITY COLOMBIA”. Regarding Carlos's situation in 'La Red', it was established that the presenter requested a vacation to be able to participate in the 'reality' that is being recorded in Santa Fe de Antioquia and will be broadcast on the digital platform HBO Max.

The program that will look for the best amateur chef in the national show will be sworn by Jorge Rauch's brother Mark Rauch, Paco Roncero, the Spanish chef who accompanied the first season of MasterChef, and the renowned pastry chef Juliana Álvarez.

The great pastry chef: Bake Off Colombia, will be presented by Danna Garcia and will feature the participation of: Carlos 'El Pibe' Valderrama, Carlos Vargas, Mario Ruiz, Johana Fadul, Kimberly Reyes, Andrés Cabas, Belky Arizala, Natalia Giraldo, Yaneth Waldman, Martina 'The Dangerosa', Juan Manuel Restrepo and Marcos Andrés Carreño 'Kiki Year'.

I am one of the contestants of EL GREAT PASTEMAKER - BAKE OFF CELEBRITY COLOMBIA, the competition that seeks the best amateur pastry chef in the country. We have already started recordings and we are enjoying this experience to the fullest.”

Like Vargas and El Pibe, other participants expressed through messages on networks the excitement of being able to participate in the Great Pastry Chef, one of the culinary programs that promises to fight head-to-hand against MasterChef Celebrity.
