The arrival of platforms in recent years allowed the market to open up to new stories that began to arrive from distant countries and which we were not so familiar with their fictions. This way we were able to enjoy series and films spoken in different languages that reflected different realities and customs. We also find ourselves enjoying the performance of performers that we did not know so far and that we are gradually incorporating. Now comes this new proposal from Star Plus, which was encouraged to bring a different story to its catalog, thus expanding its options for fictions.
This is the production Los angeles ignorantes, a fiction that arrives from Italy and it is the first original series from that country for the Star Plus streaming service. Directed by Ferzan Ozpetek (The Goddess Fortune, A Very Normal Family) with Gianluca Mazella (Damn Spring), tells the story of Massimo (Luca Argentero), a man who dies in a motorcycle accident. Massimo was married to Antonia (Cristiana Capotondi), who will discover that her husband was having an affair with another man, a young man named Michele (Eduardo Scarpetta).
This fiction, created by Gianni Romoli (Cuore sacro) and Ozped, was written by Carlotta Corradi (Likemeback) in collaboration with Massimo Bacchini (Berni and il giovane faraone). The series, produced by Tilde Corsi for R&C Produzioni, tells how Antonia recovers after the death of her husband. There she will begin to investigate the secret life of her husband and begin to establish a bond of friendship with Michele, who for years was a lover of his life partner.
Antonia finds Michele's missing family and in turn discovers the bond that united Massimo (her husband) with all those people who until now were absolutely unknown to her. Thanks to all of them, Antonia will change her way of looking at life when she least expected it.
