This year there will be an electoral process to define six governorships: Aguascalientes, Durango, Tamaulipas, Quintana Roo, Hidalgo and Oaxaca. Therefore, candidates seek to capture the attention of citizens and be able to capitalize on votes. It is in this context that the participation of the coalitions Va por México and Juntos Hacemos Historia stands out.
In the tourist state of Quintana Roo, Laura Fernández, the standard-bearer of Va por México (PRI, PAN and PRD), has to compete against Mara Lezama, from Juntos Hacemos Historia (Morena). So he announced that he encouraged the sector that is most used in the state: tourism.
On Saturday, April 23, at the 2022 Business Forum held in the entity, Fernández Piña promised that when he comes to power he will generate real economic policies that suit Quintanarroans, so he assured that he will reactivate the tourism promotion trusts and double the budget for this sector.
The PRD-Pan-Confianza flag bearer had a meeting with different corporate leaders, with whom she established economic agreements that will favor the industry. In this way, the economic outpouring generated by this policy is expected to favor the citizens of the state.
It should be noted that the Mexican Chamber of the Construction Industry (CMIC) proposed five approaches, which were followed by the candidate and said that in the first 100 days of her administration, the action of paving streets will be implemented in all the districts of Quintana Roo.
Under a business logic, Fernández assured that strengthening the Private Initiative (IP) of the most productive sector in the state will benefit the population. In addition to this, he noted that with its programs that seek to guarantee the right to a decent residence locally, it is hoped that the Universal Housing Plan, which will support the construction sector, will be able to materialize.
The Va por México campaign has a high probability of being successful, because although Morena's competitor has popular support because she belongs to the party of Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO), it should be noted that during her tenure as mayor of Benito Juárez (Cancun), the crime incidence of high-impact crimes was keeps it elevated.
According to the Executive Secretariat of the National Public Security System (SESNSP), from 2018 to 2021, the entity recorded 2,788 homicides, 30 femicides, 3,936 cases of house robbery, 5,846 vehicle robbery, 962 rapes and 1,673 drug investigation kits.

In addition to this, along with the start of the campaigns, the candidate of Va por México filed a lawsuit against Jorge Emilio González, the Green Child, for alleged political violence against gender, this for issuing statements described as misogynistic.
“This morning I filed a complaint of political violence with the Electoral Institute of Quintana Roo and I will proceed to file a criminal complaint with the Prosecutor's Office against Jorge Emilio González and Mara de Sama, for which I will now hold you responsible for anything that may happen to me or any member of my family or of my work team,” said Fernández Piña.
