Debanhi's father hired a private expert that would contrast with that of the Prosecutor's Office: “My daughter was suffocated”

Mario Escobar pointed out that the Prosecutor's Office rescued the body and transferred it to Semefo without his consent and without letting them see him in the area of the discovery

Mario Escobar, father of Debanhi Escobar, revealed more information behind the case of his daughter's search, and various errors, hidden information or negligence of the Attorney General's Office of the State of Nuevo León (FGE), since during the burial of the 18-year-old girl he made new statements.

In front of his father, mother, other relatives, friends and friends of Debanhi Escobar, the man said that although the Prosecutor's Office claimed that he died from a blow to the head, the reality is different, because at least what he was able to observe during the identification of the body, there were indications that she was allegedly suffocated.

“They beat her in the face, suffocated her. That the prosecution wants to issue a statement saying that she died of a bruise, from a blow to the head and it's a total lie because we saw her. We were not afraid to see her”, were Mr. Mario's clarifications.

On the other hand, he asked all those present in the place, and the general public to whom the message could reach, that “we must take care of each other”, because that is the only way, he stressed, “we will have a better quality of life”.

In this regard, he assured during an interview with Foro Tv that the cause of death was confirmed by a private expert service that he had to hire because they did not even let them see the body, and he denounced that during the rescue of the body, they did things wrong.

In the first instance, he revealed that his daughter was identified thanks to the clothes she was wearing the day she was reported missing, as the body was already in an advanced state of decomposition due to the circumstances in which she was apparently found.

However, they could not see it at the time of the rescue, as they were not allowed to be present, and ended up moving the body to the Forensic Medical Service, where they were finally able to see it, accompanied by the governor of the state, Samuel García of the Citizen Movement.

“We waited there for the body to be removed, we identified it, we identified my daughter's garments because she was already in a very advanced state of decomposition. I didn't see it there, they didn't allow it, they packed without my authorization, I have to give permission to see the body. Another thing they do wrong. They packed it up and took it to Semefo,” he said.

He added that until then they did not let him see the body, and he even had to resort to “an external expert to really check what the cause of death was”; and in this regard, he added that “they killed me”, without giving any more details than was revealed by the private expert.

For his part, Gustavo Adolfo Guerrero Gutiérrez, Prosecutor of Nuevo León, revealed in a statement to the press that the evidence indicated that the body was indeed that of Debanhi Susana, and the cause of death was a deep contusion of the skull.

He added, however, that it will not be here where they investigated it, since they do not rule out any of the lines of investigation, and they will be able to in the case all the resources they have to clarify the facts.

In this regard, they added that there was a first review in the place where the body was found, but it was not possible to find the body, which was reported by the workers themselves, who detected gases coming out of the cistern.
