With two PlayStation 5 models available, it can be difficult to decide which one is right for the consumer. The most frequently asked question of Sony console users is, whether to opt for the PS5 with 4K Blu-Ray drive, or spend a little less and buy the PS5 Digital Edition.
But when it comes to a comparison between the digital edition of PS5 and the original PS5, there are people who made the wrong decision to choose a version that didn't suit their tastes. At first glance, he is forgiven if he thinks that Sony's black and white giants are exactly the same. However, there are clear differences between the normal version of the PlayStation 5 and the digital model that every consumer needs to know, which could influence the final decision.
Next, Infobae brings a comparison of the PS5 to the PS5 Digital Edition in each area, from price to specifications, to help you make the best buying decision.

Video games on PS5 and PS5 digital version:
Fortunately, this is the easy part. Apart from the fact that one plays from discs and the other is exclusively from the console's internal storage system, the digital editions of PS5 and PS5 play exactly the same PS5 games in exactly the same way.
With identical internal specifications, you can enjoy 4K gaming at fast refresh rates on both the PS5 and its digital-only counterpart, and you don't have to wait to see differences in gameplay between the two.
Where things get a little negative from one version to another is on the backward compatibility front. Well, the digital edition of the console will play PS4 titles, but, of course, your existing disc collection will not be playable. Instead, the user will probably have to buy it new digitally.
Final decision
It is difficult to make a call on financial matters: if the user is an avid gamer without the money to make the big leap to the top-tier PS5, it is better to choose the digital console. Next-gen games will surely be a pleasure on that model as well.
But, if the person can afford it, it is better to choose the standard disc-based PS5 console. Such a user will still be able to watch Blue-Ray movies, not to mention the potential money he will save over the years by exchanging disc-based games with his friends and in exchange shops.
