Months ago, Luis Urruti and his wife Florencia Romaniello had the initiative of raffling a shirt autographed by the whole team to pay for José Guillermo's tickets to Spain, where his cancer could be treated. However, this morning the Uruguayan couple announced the death of the minor.

“With the pain of the soul, I have to inform you at the request of your father that José has just left. Thanks to all the people who collaborated from the beginning, to those who prayed for him. José is in a better place, where there is peace, there is no pain, there is no crying”, it was read on social networks. He also dedicated a few words to her, since she had been named the godmother of José Guillermo.
