Instagram has evolved a lot over the years; it started as a simple photography app and now has several options that can be leveraged to create creative content, and thus leave followers fascinated.

Of course, there is a common problem: sometimes the overall quality of the image leaves much to be desired. Therefore, Infobae brings 3 tips to improve the result of photos to upload to Instagram:

1. Reduce photos in Photopea to improve quality

In case the photo you want to publish is square, you already know that it must first be reduced to 1080 x 1080 px. What is sought here is not to reduce quality or sharpness, and that is why we must follow this advice. For this, you can use Photoshop, or the free version available on this website called Photopea.

The first thing to do is reduce the long side to 2160px and then to 1080px.

When it's done, go to Image and choose Image Size, then place 2160px on the longest side of the photo with the Resample option active.

After following these steps, you have to repeat them with the bottom border, only put 1080px in the final size.

Finally, when this thumbnail is saved, go to File, click Export, and then Save for Web. It should be remembered that the colors of the image must be RGB and it is best to always save them as JPG.

2. Do not crop the image on Instagram

It has most likely happened to many users several times that when they want to upload a photo to their profile, the app has significantly cropped it.

In fact, the size that Instagram allows an image is 600 x 400 px as a horizontal image and 600 x 749 px as a vertical image.

When a photo is large, Instagram will automatically crop the photo, which also significantly reduces the quality.

What you need to do to keep the quality of the photos on Instagram intact, is to crop your image with the measurements that Infobae showed earlier. You can use Photopea, as well as one of these options:

- InShot

- Instasize

- MOLDIV

- Photo Editor

- PicsArt

- Unfold

3. Use the iPhone camera

The last of the tips to improve the quality of photos on Instagram is very simple but also a very common mistake.

It seems so simple and irrelevant that many people simply let it go without realizing it, and publish photos that they take from the app itself, in Stories or from the camera of the same.

What you need to do to avoid this loss of quality is to use the phone's native camera. After you have taken the photo, it is precisely here that you have to edit and then publish with a much higher quality in the profile.

The trick to post a photo on different accounts and at the same time on Instagram

- Abrir Instagram

- Go to the plus sign (+) in the upper right corner

- Choose all the photos you want to publish

- Click on Next, and you will enter the editing section

- At the bottom you can see the different accounts that can be published

- Click on the switch on the other account

From there, you just have to click on the Publish button to make the photos accessible simultaneously to both accounts. This same step can also be used to send a post to linked Facebook accounts or even to Twitter, if that's the case.
