WHAT IS THE ONP?
The Provisional Standardization Office (ONP) is a decentralized public institution of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and its mission is to guide its efforts to achieve the welfare of retirees through friendly and fair treatment, using efficient processes and high quality standards. It has its own funds and assets, functional, administrative, technical, economic and financial autonomy, constituting a budget statement.
The entity is also a Public Technical and Specialized Body of the Economy and Finance Sector, which is responsible for the administration of the National Pension System (SNP) referred to in Decree-Law No. 19990. It is also responsible for the Social Security Scheme for Fisheries Workers and Pensioners, created through Law No. 30003, among other pension schemes run by the State.
