Although at the end of 2021 they met and even posed together in a series of photographs published on their social networks, Arturo Vázquez said that he had no good relationship with his father, singer Alberto Vazquez, revealing that the visit was something temporary that did not change in any way the resentment that the actor may feel for the absence his father had throughout his childhood.
It was through the cameras of Venga La Alegría Fin de Semana, that the actor of telenovelas such as The Color of the Passion, Simplemente María (2015) and Mi Adorable Curse assured that after the big meeting that had apparently fixed the bad relationship, there is again a distancing, since there is no kind of communication between them, neither physically, in writing or interactions on social networks, so he assured that nothing surprises him anymore since his whole life has been like this.
“Well, we're not stuck to WhatsApp all the time either. The greatest attachment I could have had is with my mom, that is, much greater than the one I had with my dad. We don't have that attachment, neither he to me, nor I to him. He will talk to me or I don't know, there will be a letter in the mailbox or there won't be,” the Televisa actor began to tell.
The children of celebrities as they grow up confess the great pain caused by the absence that their parents gave them because they were working or focused on artistic projects, but in this case the resentment seems to remain present because even though they are already two mature men, things never seem to have a peaceful solution, but rather a possible estrangement “for mental health”, which in some way no longer affects their relationship even more: “And it is not worth talking about things that did not happen, that did not happen or that happened in such a way,” he added.
Arturo Vázquez confessed that he is writing a book about his life, in which he could give more detail about the recent controversy with his father, however, he is not sure of everything that can be embodied, because he assured that if he does not have any clear idea or is consistent with the rest of his way of having seen things in his family of celebrities, I would rather leave it out and not touch on that subject anymore.
“The last one I'm going to think about is my son, so he can help me not to put a few commas or quote ha ha ha ha ha. And if I mention something in the book that I remember, it's because I really don't remember it,” he confessed.
A year after his regrettable departure, Arturo Vázquez remembers with deep pain the departure of his mother, the first actress Isela Vega, so he wants to pay a great tribute, something unusual to what Mexican audiences are used to, since it will not be about his career in television, film and theater: he will give him a concert with songs that the performer liked to listen and even dance.
“Slowly... she began to sing like that (she makes dance moves) and I would tell her 'pray more what a wave' ha ha ha 'it's good, that clothes are good' and she was still dancing”, she expressed with great joy to TV Azteca.
The actress originally from Hermosillo, Sonora, passed away at the age of 81. It was in March 2021 that the world of entertainment, through social networks, decided to give her the last goodbye and recognize Isela's great career, as well as reflect on the size of the loss that Mexico's artistic field has suffered.
