Luca Vildoza had his long-awaited revenge after a brief stint at the New York Knicks, where he was cut before the start of the season due to an injury to one of his feet that kept him from the courts for several months. The Milwaukee Bucks, reigning NBA champions, surprised with their recruitment ahead of the playoffs and the point guard of the Argentine national team does not want to miss the opportunity.

In Game 3 of the first-round series against the Chicago Bulls, Mike Budenholzer bet on giving it a few minutes and the Marplatense did not disappoint in his team's 111-81 victory at the United Center to put the series 2-1 in favor of the Wisconsin.

The former Quilmes and Baskonia of Spain had 8 minutes, which showed his full potential. He closed his roster with 3 points (1 of 3 in triples), handed out 3 luxury assists, which lifted Giannis Antetokounmpo, the great figure of the team and one of the stars of the NBA, from his seat, 2 steals and a rebound.

In his highlights are a pass from his field for an easy double of a teammate, a pique assist in a counterattack and then a robbery plus a girdle that ended in a dunk of Thanasis Antetokounmpo. His repertoire could have been greater, but Serge Ibaka was not fine in the definition.

With this match, Vildoza became the 16th Argentine to play at least one game officially in the US league. The previous ones were Juan Ignacio 'Pepe' Sanchez, Rubén Wolkowyski, Manu Ginobili, Carlos Delfino, Andrés Nocioni, Fabricio Oberto, Walter Herrmann, Luis Scola, Pablo Prigioni, Nicolas Laprovittola, Nicolas Brussino, Patricio Garino, Facundo Campazzo, Gabriel Deck and Leandro Bolmaro.

In the visit, the power of Giannis Antetokounpo was key, with 18 points, 9 assists and 7 rebounds. Also outstanding were Grayson Allen (22 units), Bobby Portis (18) and Jrue Holiday (16-6-6). In Illinois, however, the biggest goal was between Nikola Vucevic (19), Zach LaVine (15) and DeMar DeRozan (11).

The next commitment between the two teams will be tomorrow, from 14 pm (Argentina time) at the United Center. If the current monarchs of the league win again, they will have the chance to settle the series on Wednesday at the Fiserv Forum.
