Presidential elections are getting closer to being held in Colombia and candidates are fine-tuning their campaigns to be able to call on most of society to vote for their political projects for the next 4 years.
In this specific case, the Historical Pact, composed by candidate Gustavo Petro and his vice-presidential formula Francia Márquez, have received support from different sectors of society and groups that defend different causes such as the environment, art and culture.

As for the artists, Márquez uploaded an image this Saturday, April 23, where she is accompanied by the Colombian band Aterciopelados. The group has been related to the political proposal of progressive leaders, as can be seen on their social networks.
Meanwhile, the comment of the environmental leader and winner of the Goldman Prize for her defense of ecosystems reads:

The members of Aterciopelados were not the only artists to join Marquez's cause, as on Friday afternoon the vice-presidential candidate uploaded other images with various actors, filmmakers and other artists, leaving a similar message to today's one on her social networks.
The political contest will continue for at least another month, until the campaigns are closed pending the final vote. It is still expected that more alliances of the various candidates will be announced in order to be the successor or successor, in the case of Ingrid Betancourt, of the current president Iván Duque.
The challenges will be enough for the next few years, as some issues such as security, relations with Venezuela, economic openness, education and health, among others, are on the discussion table of citizens, who seek to make policies increasingly impact them in a positive way.
