DIM accuses Atlético Nacional and Dimayor of lack of solidarity after running out of stadium to play the classic

The 18th date of the Colombian League will have as its most important match the classic Antioquia between Independiente Medellín vs. Atlético Nacional, where the 'mighty of the mountain' will be the one who will be the local official. However, the match has a problem and that is the confirmation of the venue, which merited a statement from the red team complaining about Dimayor and his rival from Patio.

DIM has been forced to change the venue of Copa Sudamericana matches due to the multiple concerts that will be held at the Atanasio Girardot stadium. Therefore, Internacional de Brasil and Guairena de Paraguay will receive them at the Hernán Ramírez Villegas stadium, in Pereira. But these won't be the only parties with changes.

For the leaders of Independiente Medellín, this is a sign of lack of solidarity from both the rival of the patio and the governing body of Colombian football. For this reason, he criticized the lack of support for clubs that compete on behalf of Colombia in the Conmebol tournaments (Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana):

In the statement published by the social networks of the 'mighty mountain ensembly', the situation in other stadiums in the region that could host the classic Antioquia is described. In Envigado, the team gave the green light but the refusal came from the mayor's office, which they did not lend at the Polideportivo Sur stadium because of the renovations that are being carried out there.

In Itagüí, the situation is more complex, as Leones, who plays home at the Metropolitan Stadium, has matches scheduled by Dimayor in the BetPlay Tournament. They are still waiting for the response of the city of Rionegro to play the match at the Alberto Grisales stadium.

Independiente Medellín requested that the match be rescheduled for May 10 and that the second leg matches for the Round of 16 of the Copa Colombia of both clubs be scheduled for May 26 or 27. In addition, that the match against Jaguares de Córdoba could be advanced one day in order to guarantee the rest time. However, he received the refusal again from both Atlético Nacional and Dimayor.
