The three-year-old girl who was a victim of sexual abuse in Chiclayo has been discharged, after successfully recovering from the reconstructive surgery she underwent, according to the Social Health Security (EsSalud).
On Friday morning, a second multidisciplinary medical meeting was held, where it was determined that the minor no longer needed to remain hospitalized, as she had progressed favorably to the operation. In addition, the specialists agreed that it is necessary for the little girl to return home to continue her psychological recovery. The atmosphere of your home and being with your parents will help positively in that purpose.
“EsSalud has given her all the attention and care that has made it possible for the patient's state of health to be optimal at this time and now she is discharged to be with her family,” said Juan Carlos Florian, head of the hospital's gynecology service.
The minor was admitted to the Almanzor Aguinaga hospital in Chiclayo on April 13, where she underwent surgery. She then continued to be attended by specialists in the areas of gynecology, pediatrics, pediatric surgery, neuropediatrics, nutrition, psychology and psychiatry
After a medical meeting, he was given an electroencephalogram on Saturday, April 16, to rule out brain trauma. On Monday the 18th he was given a neurological study. Both tests confirmed that he had not suffered from brain damage.
EsSalud said they will continue to offer psychological care to the patient, and emotional support to parents to overcome this traumatic experience. In addition, the minor must continue to return for her check-ups at the Almanzor Aguinaga hospital, which would first be weekly and then, periodically, according to medical criteria.
PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE WILL REQUEST LIFE IMPRISONMENT
The case of the abduction and rape of the three-year-old girl in Chiclayo has caused indignation among the population. Many people clamored for the death penalty and others for life imprisonment. Thus, the Public Ministry reported that it will request the maximum possible penalty in Peru, life imprisonment, for the man nicknamed as the 'Chiclayo Monster'.
The entity reported that the prosecutor of the First Provincial Prosecutor's Office of Chiclayo, Gloria Samillán Vallejos, would file the charge yesterday for the crime of rape of a minor, requesting that Juan Antonio Enríquez García (48) receive life imprisonment.
The magistrate assumes the case, after a court of José Leonardo Ortiz (JLO) approved the transfer of the file to the jurisdiction of Chiclayo. In addition, he will no longer use the Gesell chamber interrogation to obtain new evidence, since he considers that with what has been done so far there is sufficient evidence to achieve a conviction.
The tax investigation into this delicate case has managed to obtain, so far, the indictment of the accused, videos, the records of seizure of the personal record and the subject's cell phone, where videos of the crime were found. Similarly, there are also biological tests and the images from the security camera that recorded the moment when Enríquez takes the child, kidnapping her, and putting her into his personal vehicle.
The Prosecutor's Office would also be about to request the seizure of the vehicle of the 'Chiclato Monster' to be used for the payment of compensation to the family, who have demanded the maximum penalty for this criminal.
It is recalled that the case has aroused great indignation among the population and even aroused a proposal from the Executive Branch to approve a bill on castration chemistry. This was approved by the Council of Ministers, for child molesters who have not been sentenced to life imprisonment.
