After the Attorney General of the State (FGE) of Nuevo León announced on Friday night that a deep contusion of the skull was the cause of the death of Debanhi Susana Escobar Bazaldúa, the entity's governor, Samuel García, attended with his wife, Mariana Rodríguez, at the wake of the 18-year-old girl who disappeared last 9 April after attending a party with her friends.

On leaving the funeral home “Las Capillas del Carmen”, located on Constitución Avenue, in the city of Monterrey, the president emecista urged the prosecutor's office to disclose the investigation folder of the case, since he assured that like Debanhi's family, he has not had access to it either.

He explained that hours earlier, during their meeting with Debanhi's parents at the facilities of the Forensic Medical Service (Semefo), they promised to ask the prosecution to speed up the process.

Regarding the claim of Mario Escobar, father of the victim, about why the digital taxi driver, identified as Juan David C., who allegedly harassed her and left her alone on the highway between Nuevo Laredo - Monterrey, has not been arrested, García Sepúlveda stated that the same prosecutor's office does not provide data.
