The location of the lifeless bodies of the five young women caused outrage on social networks, as they were found during an operation that was not set up for their search but that of Debanhi Escobar, whose case had a wide media reach that mobilized the authorities in the face of social demand. On Twitter, there are hundreds of tweets where users express their disagreement, including that of family members looking for missing loved ones.

The brother of Wendy Sánchez, a young man who disappeared since January 9, 2021, has been one of the tweeps who made statements regarding the discovery of teenage girls. In the tweet. Baruc Sánchez says: “Looking for Debanhi they found Ireland, Ingrid, Jenifer, Brisa and Irma. The state only searches when there is pressure on it, so I tell them if a family member needs to go out, close avenues, do sittings, what is necessary to create pressure”.

In addition, it should be noted that teenage girls found between Tuesday and Wednesday of this week are not the only ones who were reported missing in days after Debanhi's disappearance. At least 4 more women are currently wanted: Sofía Izaely Sanchez, Jaqueline del Rio Ivoriano, Regina Montserrath Gutierrez Borrego and Alma Delia Hernández Martínez, all of them are part of the 10% of the cases of disappearance not resolved by the FGJ of Nuevo León.

In the midst of outrage over the current crisis in Nuevo León due to the disappearances, Samuel García asked the NL prosecutor to show the photos and videos of the investigation of Debanhi Escobar, as an act of transparency that will make it possible to dispel doubts about the case.
