Anniversary of the Three Heroes of Sicaya (Junín): 140 years have passed since Vicente Samaniego Vivas, Enrique Rosado Zarate and Tomás Gutarra Solis, were cruelly killed by Chilean soldiers, who wanted to take over the Huancas lands.
Feast of Our Lady of Chapi in Huancayo (Junín): it is an expression of cultural and social identity, which has great significance for the dissemination of traditional values of popular religiosity transmitted from generation to generation orally through language, popular knowledge and ancestral knowledge.

Anniversary of the birth of José Abelardo Quiñones: He began his life as an Officer in the Aviation Squadron No. 4 of Ancon and soon after he was transferred to the XXI Fighter Squadron. By Supreme Resolution No. 65 of January 28, 1940, he was promoted to the class of Lieutenant of Aeronautics. Being in Chiclayo as a Pilot Fighter Officer and on the occasion of commemorating Aviation Day in September 1941, he was part of the group of paratroopers, which for the first time in our history and in South America held a magnificent demonstration.
