Luis Díaz is the fashion player in England, since his arrival in Liverpool, the guajiro, became a fundamental piece of the team of German Jurguen Kloop, where he is frequently playing as an initialist. In total he has played 17 matches in almost 3 months for the 'reds' where he has already scored 4 goals, 1 for UEFA Champions League, and another in the Premier League classic against Manchester United.

Liverpool paid 45 million euros for Luis Díaz and in a matter of a few months, some portals indicate that its market value has soared to more than 70 million. Occasionally, the German site Tranfermarkt has “lucho” valued at the same 45 million that the English gave Porto F.C; this figure makes it one of the most valuable players of the moment.

The numbers put him as the most expensive player in Colombia, Liverpool's ninth most valuable; compared to the left wingers worldwide he is the fifteenth in the ranking, because of his price. In fact, Transfermarkt ranks him 38th, as the most valuable footballer in the English league and in the top 100 worldwide.

Compared to the other South American players, Diaz ranks 18th, with the same market value of Argentine Angel Correa, who plays for Atletico Madrid, and Brazilians Diego Carlos, central defender of Sevilla; along with Rafinha who belongs to Leeds. Currently, the Colombian is more valuable than footballers such as: Paulo Dybala, who is in Juventus; his Liverpool teammate Roberto Firmino, among many others.

Compared to Colombia, as previously reported, Luis Diaz is the most expensive player, they follow him: Atalanta striker Duvan Zapata, with 30 million euros; Davinson Sanchez central defender of England's Tottenham Hotspur with the same value; Luis Fernando Muriel who accompanies Zapata, is worth 22 million; the steering wheel Wilmar Barrios that is in Russia's Zenit valued at 20 million; same figure as Everton defender Yerry Mina.

In another ranking that “lucho” leads is one carried out by the International Center for Sports Studies, CIES, which made a list of the best strikers in the Premier League in the last 3 months. The Colombian is considered the top 4, led by his teammates: Egyptian Mohamed Salah, Portuguese Diogo Jota and Senegalese Sadio Mané.

In that list, the guajiro beats figures such as Cristiano Ronaldo of Manchester United or the German Timo Werner of Chelsea.

Liverpool, with Luis Díaz, will play their next match this Sunday, April 24, against Everton, where there is a possibility that the Colombians will face, if Yerry Mina coach Frank Lampard decides to add him to the squad list. This match, dubbed the “Merseyside derby”, can put the 'Reds' as leaders of the English league, if Manchester City loses or ties their commitment tomorrow when they will face Watford in home condition.

Sunday's Liverpool vs Everton match will be played from 10:30 in the morning, Colombia time, at Anfield Stadium. After this match, there will be 5 games left to finish the Premier League. In the standings: Manchester City is first with 77 points, Liverpool second with 76, Chelsea third with 62, fourth Tottenham with 57 and fifth Arsenal with the same score.
