Violence continues unchecked in the country. On Thursday night, the director of Public Security of the municipality of Acatlan de Osorio, Puebla, Hector García Álvarez and his wife were ambushed and killed by a commando on their way back from a party.
According to the facts, the police command, his wife and three children were traveling on the Puebla-Huajuapan highway, when gunmen started shooting at them.
The adults lost their lives there, while the minors were taken to a hospital because they were injured during the assault. His condition is reported as serious.
The governor of Puebla, Miguel Barbosa, expressed his condolences to García Álvarez's family and expressed that the fact would not go unpunished. “We are going to clean Acatlán de Osorio. Do not let criminal gangs settle there, that criminal groups create themselves owners of the place. Where people from Morelos, Guerrero arrive, we are not going to allow that to happen,” he said.
