The leader of the Historical Pact left on his Twitter social network an archive in which he denies every piece of information they have published about him and which, he says, is a lie

Gustavo Petro has had to come out in the last few hours explaining and denying some false news that has come out about him and his current political campaign in the face of the presidential elections of May 29.

The head of the Historical Pact has constantly been attacked with different news stories in which things are said, but that in the end such accusations are not usually accompanied by evidence of any kind.

Social networks, in addition to being media, are also tools that can often be used to share false information on different topics, even so the electoral season is one of the times that perhaps the most misinformation can generate on the account of people who seek to do so voluntarily and with an intention clear or because of ignorance.

Petro on Twitter shared an archive in which followers and people who want to clarify their perspective on the presidential candidate can find first-hand information from the Historical Pact team, thus managing to combat news that haunts the networks and that do not correspond to reality.

This is what Petro showed in a trill, where he invites you to learn more about him: “Here you can have a compendium of false news that the Uribism counter-campaign has launched against me,” said Gustavo.

Some false news that has spread on networks, such as the alleged image where former FARC guerrillas wore Petro shirts campaigning for him or, for example, about candidate Petro's alleged threat to create a new guerrilla if he did not win the elections, have been denied.

In the explanation of each false news you can read how they argue why it is false information, through the verification of data and the verification of the veracity of audios, videos and images disseminated, here is an example.

Below each explanation of the news, in the articles, they share a link in which they seek to expand the information about the alleged words, images and others that have involved Gustavo Petro, according to them, in a false way.

In recent hours, the progressive candidate has shared a photograph of his time in Chiquinquirá, Boyacá as part of his presidential campaign, with which he seeks, as he has stated at other times, to win in the first round on May 29.

It is worth remembering that Petro is the one who leads the most recent polls on the Colombian voting intention, followed by the Antioquia Federico Gutiérrez and the Santander engineer Rodolfo Hernández.

There is little time left in the electoral contest among the more than 6 candidates who aspire to reach Casa de Nariño and implement their government plans for the next 4 years in which they will face great challenges in internal politics and the level of international relations.
