Miguel Ángel López bets on a new business in Boyacá

The Colombian cyclist, who recently completed his participation in the Tour of the Alps, continues to undertake, this time with a glamping.

On Wednesday, April 21, cyclist Miguel Ángel Lopez won his first victory of the season by winning the fourth stage of the Alps Tour by beating Frenchman Thibaut Pinot in the last kilometers. A triumph that fills him with joy and that allows him to once again place himself among the riders who could be the protagonists of the season. Now it was announced other reasons why the Colombian rider is also happy.

Following in the footsteps of several of his colleagues such as Rigoberto Urán, Nairo Quintana or Esteban Chaves, the Astana cyclist already had a similar venture to them with sports products, now he decided to open a new business and with which he hopes to continue generating profits, outside of cycling. This is a Glamping.

This accommodation in the middle of nature is built with light materials to enjoy a peaceful atmosphere. The domes are made of wood and have windows on the roof and walls, to observe the surrounding nature and the sky. This venture that has the name 'Domo Sup3rLópez” is located in Pesca, Boyacá, (municipality where the cyclist is from) a little more than three hours from Bogotá.

The Colombian cyclist has been working on this project for several months and on the glamping account you can see what the construction process of the place has been like. “Hard work, discipline, love, family, team, perseverance will always be the keys to success, almost a fact,” published the account on February 10, where you can still see some of the constructions that were taking place in the place.

“Fresh air is always good, nature recharges us and cycling. That one fills us with life. Very soon you will know a place to disconnect and connect with what is important,” says the account with a photograph of the Colombian cyclist wearing his Astana uniform.

In the most recent publication where glamping is seen in the middle of nature, they tell a little about how this entrepreneurship of the Colombian cyclist came about and invite people to come and enjoy the place.

Well, we tell you that this image reflects the dream of our champion Miguel Ángel López and his whole family to create a space where you can give your life moments of peace, tranquility and how it turns out to recharge your energies and a lot of joy,” says the publication made on the official Instagram of the glamping of the Colombian pedalist.

For now the Colombian runner, who finished his participation in the Tour of the Alps, where he finished in the 27th box of the overall standings at 14:40 for Romain Bardet, who won with a time of 18:59:29. The best Colombian in the competition was Santiago Buitrago of Bahrain - Victorious, finishing eighth in the overall standings, while Einer Rubio of the Movistar Team came in 13th place.

Superman López will now prepare for the first big race of the year, the Giro d'Italia, where he will be the leader of Astana and hopes to be one of the main protagonists of the competition that Egan Bernal won in 2021.
