Marbelle attacked Piedad Córdoba by retweeting a trill from a fake Ingrid Betancourt account

One of the public figures who has given the most to talk about in the middle of the election campaigns in Colombia has been Marbelle. The singer and actress has used her social networks to make clear her political positions ahead of the presidential elections that will take place on May 29. In recent weeks he has strongly criticized the Historical Pact and some of its members such as Gustavo Petro, Francia Márquez, Gustavo Bolivar and now Piedad Córdoba.

The presidential candidate for the Historical Pact, Gustavo Petro, recently asked former Senator Piedad Córdoba to suspend all activities within the electoral campaign she is carrying out, this until she “can resolve, hopefully, favorably, the legal syndications made to her”.

This did not go unnoticed by several political fronts and public figures who criticized Gustavo Petro for having delayed making the decision. Sergio Fajardo, Federico Gutiérrez, Ingrid Betancourt, among others, referred to this situation. The singer Marbelle also did not miss the opportunity to lash out against the presidential candidate and the senator-elect.

Marbelle, through her Twitter account decided to make a retweet of a publication made by a fake account of presidential candidate Ingrid Betancourt, something she didn't notice and where she said: “Theodora, I've always waited for this moment when you pay for your crimes. Good thing between heaven and earth there is nothing hidden and the truth came to light. The pain of others is not negotiated by votes. #GustavoRenuncie”.

The criticism and comments were not long in coming for the singer known as the 'queen of technocarrillera', who through other publications assured that she already knew it was not an official account, but that she really liked the message, which is why she decided to share it also on her networks “That of Ingrid is a fake account”, said a user to Marbelle, who replied, “But it looks cute”.

In another triune, a person responds, “Oh, like Marbelle, not knowing how to differentiate between an official account and one paid for uribism, you can't stop humiliating yourself one day”, to which Marbelle responds, “obviously it's fake, but the tweet is spectacular”.

Candidate Ingrid Betancourt has reported on social media the fake accounts that try to impersonate her with fake messages. On her Twitter account, the candidate posted some images of the messages that have been posted and which she clarifies that they are false and stated that, “We publicly denounce this profile that intends to impersonate me with false messages. Don't be fooled.

And recently he rereported the account that the trill wrote that was published in Marbelle's profile. This time the person who controls this account was doing part of a talk called “said live with Ïngrid Betancour 2.0″. The presidential candidate reiterated the allegations regarding the account that misuses her name.

“I reiterate that the @IBetancourtCoi account is falsely using my name, even making Spaces literally impersonating my voice. No position given by that account is official and we announce legal action against those responsible. This is the only official account,” said the candidate on her Twitter account.
