Carolina Giraldo, better known as Karol G, has been the subject of conversation for the past few days, as her presentation at the Coachella festival in California impacted the world, not only for performing her most successful songs, but also for paying tribute to Colombia and other artists such as Shakira and Selena Quintanilla. In the last few hours, the singer Paisa returned to be a musical trend by releasing her new song 'Provenza'.

Already in previous days, the urban artist had anticipated that, after seven months without new releases, she would return on April 21 with a new song which she described as “the most chimba I have done in my entire career”. In less than 24 hours after its release, the official video of 'Provence' on YouTube became the number 1 trend on the platform.

With some videos, through his Instagram account, Karol G revealed to his 51 million followers some clips prior to the song. On the beach and accompanied by other women, the Colombian singer created a space where feminine power is seen and felt. “After 7 months, La G is Back!!! With all my love and dedication to you. #PROVENZA. LINK EN BIO”, added the artist in the description of her publication.

In the video it is clear that, once again, the paisa wanted to send a message of feminine empowerment through her creations, this time evoking a paradise in which women of all sizes and colors enjoy. The island of video seems to be a place far from everyday life, where women gather and forget about problems.

Despite the fact that in her lyrics the artist speaks to an ex-love, who asks her to 'relive old times' now that she is' free ', not a single man appears in the official video clip. “Baby what else, I haven't heard from you for a long time. I was with someone but I'm already 'free', set to 'revive old times, 'says part of the song.

In addition to all the female messages, the artist does not neglect her paisian roots and it is that Provenza is also a neighborhood of Medellin, the singer's hometown, renowned especially as a commercial area, with many bars and restaurants that attract tourists and locals.

It had been anticipated that, possibly, in this new song the Colombian artist would collaborate with Puerto Rican actor Bad Bunny, another urban artist who has had an international impact; however, in this new single the paisa sings alone. These assumptions were made because in a short video previously published by Karol G on his Instagram, a fragment of the song was heard in which there seemed to be a male voice similar to that of the singer.

The artist Paisa, for the past few months, has been surprising her fans with musical collaborations more than with her own singles, but that is not why the songs stop impacting her followers. For example, on February 10, the singer Paisa together with Becky G (Mexican-American artist) performed the premiere of 'MAMIII', a song that already has its respective music video. It is worth remembering that, at the time, the song went on the market by itself, but since Friday, April 15, the fans of both urban singers already have the video clip at their disposal.

Later, Karol G also added to her musical repertoire a song called 'Un viaje'; on this song the Colombian artist shared a microphone with Puerto Ricans Jotaerre, Moffa and Alejo.
