A school bus, which provides services to a renowned school in Bogotá, turned over on the North Highway with 197 street. Twenty-nine minors were transported there, who, according to the Ministry of Health, are out of danger and have even been discharged from health centers, who suffered only minor bruises.

According to the school, Gimnasio Los Arrayanes: “The transport company TourStar Viajes y Turismo, which provides the route service and which has all the ISO9001 and ISO45001 quality certifications, permits, reviews and documents, has informed us that the driver is in good health and that the instructor was sent to Simón Bolívar Hospital for medical review”.

But, a team from the journalistic team of Canal City Tv approached the scene, in order to cover up the accident. While they were doing the work, a group of 4 people began to obstruct the recordings, they covered the plate of the overturned bus, began to block the shots, placing their hands on the news camera; until, the aggressions worsened.

Miguel Porras, was the journalist who was at the scene of the accident and who was injured, he stated:

Taken from the Twitter of journalist Andrés Murcia Monroy.

He added that the subjects claimed that it was a private bus, that “they did not want to ticket”, adding, that it is not known what relationship they have with the vehicle or the workers involved in the accident; but, he stated that they are not drivers. In fact, with a jacket they covered the plates and with that one, they obstructed the camera to prevent the work of the City TV team.

Moments after what happened, in the news report, they show that the subjects ride on another route and flee the place, trying to cover the vehicle's license plate with a jacket, so that it would not be identified.

The media found that the attackers boarded a van belonging to the company Mavitours Transportes Especiales S.A.S. The representative expressed his apologies to the channel and the journalistic team for the events. But, the Los Arrayanes Gymnasium issued another statement stating that:

Even in the statement, the institution assures that the driver driving the injured vehicle was always accompanied by the transport company and the school; later, the police transferred him to Legal Medicine and “they attest that the driver never faced the media.” The channel assured that it will carry out the corresponding legal proceedings to move forward with the investigation. In addition, the cameraman who was injured was incapacitated for 15 days, given the seriousness of the attacks, according to the La Cardio Foundation.

The Foundation for Freedom of the Press, FLIP, spoke out, rejected what happened and called on the Attorney General's Office to carry out investigations and find those responsible for the aggression.
