This Thursday, April 21, the Colombian cyclist, Egan Bernal, shared a documentary made by his team, the Ineos Grenadiers, in which he tells part of his recovery process after the serious accident he suffered on the road that leads from Bogotá to the municipality of Gachancipá, which could cost him his life.
Through his Twitter account, the Zipaquira-born rider shared the video in which he recounted his recovery process after two months of having suffered the accident while training with his team as part of his preparation for the Tour de France, in which he suffered fractures in his femur and right knee, eleven ribs and several vertebrae.
“I'm going back. I invite you to watch this video that tells a little about what this process has been like,” tweeted the champion of the Giro d'Italia and the Tour de France, who after breaking almost 20 bones and thinking about his retirement from professional cycling plans to compete this year.
