The Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena) disseminated names and photographs of 125 criminal targets, among those who belong to or are associated with the Sinaloa Cartel, Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) and the Arellano Felix Cartel, as they dispute the Baja California border and are considered generators of violence.
Saúl Luna Jaimes, commander of the Second Military Region of Tijuana, emphasized that these people are identified because of their likely responsibility in the commission of wrongful acts, but citizens should support in denouncing and denouncing them, since there are also two women on the list.
The tarps were presented after the opening of the Week of Security and Peace at the Cerro Colorado Delegation, whose event was led by the Army. There, it was reiterated who are the alleged members of the drug cartels that are besieging the northern entity of the country.
Among the 10 most wanted, the Sedena command exhibited lieutenants of the CJNG, but also those who remain as operators of the diminished Tijuana Cartel, which has lost control over the two main factions of transnational scope, but still maintains domains in specific areas.
According to local reports, General Luna Jaimes specified that Baja California is disputed mainly by the forces of Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, El Mencho; Ismael Zambada García, el Mayo; as well as the hosts of Los Chapitos, sons of Joaquín Guzmán Loera, the Chapo.

They also identified the alleged murderer known as Jesús Alberto López Barraza, Clofer.
The federal authorities also identified part of Los Cabos, which was an armed arm to ensure control of CJNG in Tijuana, but in the last three years it has had internal fragmentation, even when it caused clashes against its partners in the border city.
“It has to have their legal restriction and they will already have to do with the authorities that prove whether they are guilty or not, so while they have an arrest warrant for murder,” commander Saúl Luna Jaimes told local media.

Although the signs are specified at the border, it should be noted that the Russians also operate in Baja California, a group led by Jesús Alexander/Alejandro Sánchez Félix and/or Miguel Ángel Gaxiola, the Russian, who is under the orders of Mayo Zambada.
At the same time, the Sinaloa Cartel is fighting internally, as this area is central to the criminal interests of Ivan Archivaldo Guzmán Salazar, Jesús Alfredo Guzmán Salazar, Ovidio Guzmán López and Joaquín Guzmán López.
In Baja California, the Russian consolidated its forces since the beginning of 2020 with Felipe Eduardo Barajas Lozano, the Omega, who was delegated to various illicit activities in order to strengthen Mayo Zambada's businesses, but finally fell into the hands of justice after being persecuted for recklessness resulting from a drunkenness on December 27, 2021.
Barajas Lozano commanded the Omegas, which after their fall passed into the hands of his brother, Christian Yael Barajas Lozano, who has been identified in narcomantas signed by the so-called Taquiza cell.
