Experts in video games, animation and software development will participate in Colombia 4.0

In addition to the workshops and conferences, networking spaces will be held to establish relationships between different industry actors and spaces for the development of business roundtables

Two weeks after the start of Colombia 4.0, the most important technology event in the country, the Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies (MinTIC), organizer of the forum, has already revealed some of the guests. The portfolio highlights that there will be spaces aimed at different audiences and focused on various activities related to the digital sector, including video games, animation, digital content, software and technological developments.

The guests highlighted by the official are important international leaders in the ICT sector. The participation of women in Colombia 4.0 is highlighted to continue encouraging women to pursue STEAM careers.

Andrea Fernández is a Chilean woman who serves as art director on The Cuphead Show and is recognized for her experience in large-scale animation projects. Meanwhile, Silvina Moschini, executive producer of Unicorn Hunters and president of She Works, an Argentinian recognized in the technology sector as the first Latin American woman to bring Transparent Business to the status of 'Unicorn', will take part in the entrepreneurs' conference.

On the other hand, Alex Fernández, president of Streamline media, will participate in the video game track and JP Sans, character animation leader at The Bad Guys, will also participate in the animation track, along with Patrick Osborne, co-director of Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles.

MinTIC said that video game lovers will also be able to enjoy talks by Jorge Suarez, general manager of Amber Mexico, a company that develops world-class software for large companies such as Gameloft, Big Fish, King, among others. You can also listen to Joshua Beveridge, animation director at Spider-Man: A New Universe.

It should be remembered that, according to MinTIC, in this twelfth version of the event, Colombia 4.0 will focus on nine points: Innovation 4.0, Digital Government, Digital Skills, Entrepreneurship, Tech & Funding, Animation, Video Games, Media and Sustainability. During its previous editions, the event had the participation of approximately 1,184,000 people and attracted more than 1,900 experts. It is expected that during this new version, more than 15 talks will be held daily.

In addition to the workshops and conferences that will be held, Colombia 4.0 will have networking spaces to establish relationships between different actors in the industry. Likewise, there will be spaces for the development of business rounds.

What is Colombia 4.0?
