The famous Mexican singer Erik Rubín has been part of the musical world from a very young age, having made his solo debut in 1993 with the success of Cuando Mueres por Alguien. She even ventured into the field of acting as she participated in soap operas such as Dying to Live and Reach a Star alongside her partner and friend Sasha Sokol.
However, his followers increased since he was part of the famous group Timbiriche in 1998, where he initially accompanied the band on a tour throughout Mexico.
Later, he found love and married the famous host of the morning today, Andrea Legarreta, with whom he had his two daughters named Mia and Nina Rubín.
For this reason, Erik Rubín mentioned for TVNotas, the wonderful father relationship he has had over the years with the two minors.
After being questioned about his feelings when he saw his two little girls succeed on stage, the singer confessed that he is sure that both are ready to achieve their goals.
“My daughters, both Mia and Nina, have been preparing since childhood, they are both ready for whatever comes their way and I am the happiest and most proud dad”, so he stressed that he is very sentimental about this theme: “I am very sentimental, I must confess that I am a very loud dad, to see them on stage happy and realized is beautiful for me.”
The celebrity also told them what led Mia and Nina to their professional career in the media: “As children, Andrea and I made it clear to them that they had to prepare and today, that we see them triumphing and shining, we understand that we are doing things right with them.”
Regarding the relationship he built with his daughters, the actor stressed that affection is crucial in his coexistence with both artists: “A lot of love and respect. For me and Andrea, the most important thing is to have total communication with them, they are loved and respected girls from home.”
In addition, the performer of Con Todos Menos Conmigo said that one of the most nervous moments in his life was when he shared the stage with Mia - the oldest of the two sisters -, since the 16-year-old accompanied her father in his most recent show Cumbia Machine Tour on April 1st at the Mexico City Arena.
“My nerves are twofold, but we do everything with great professionalism,” stressed the former Timbiriche member.
As for the passions of his two daughters, the 51-year-old singer mentioned that they are both very talented both in the world of music and in acting:
“Mia sings wonderful and she has also shown her acting skills; and Nina has many talents, I was surprised by the gift she has for songwriting,” he reaffirmed.
It should be noted that in this medium various artists have lost their floor, so their ego transcends more than their talent, which is why Erik Rubín pointed out that he handles this issue with Mia and Nina in a very peculiar way.
“We have a song called 'El Diablo' and it talks about ego, which is sometimes good to be well, but at other times it can be your enemy; you have to be very careful. But we have educated professional respectful girls and it's not over yet,” he explained.
