Baloto is not over, two companies are competing to operate the popular Colombian draw

Coljuegos reported that on May 2, it will be announced which of the companies will be in charge of the renowned game

After the deadline for submitting proposals for the five-year concession selection process for the operation of the online game called Baloto was closed, Coljuegos announced that there are already two companies interested.

According to the entity, two companies submitted to the abbreviated process as SAMC-001-2022: Promise of the Future Company Operator Nacional de Juegos S.A.S and Sociedad IGT GAMES S.A.S., the latter being the one currently operating in Baloto, since it began operating in Colombia in 2001.

It should be recalled that, in recent months, online gambling was at risk of being left without an operator, due to the percentage of exploitation rights, which was making the business unaffordable.

It should be remembered that, the two names of the companies that applied to operate the Baloto for the next five years, are released after the contract to obtain the operator was declared void on three occasions.
