America Today demanded that Melissa Paredes end Anthony Aranda to return to the show

Janet Barboza took a face for America Today and told the real reasons why Melissa Paredes didn't return to driving from the magazine of America Televisión. According to the popular 'Rulitos', after the scandal that the former beauty queen starred in, GV Producción wanted to give her a new chance, but she did not accept the conditions they put on her.

“I said that Melissa Paredes had not been separated from America Today because of the issue of infidelity or alleged infidelity, as they want to call it or whatever she wants this topic to be addressed,” she said at first.

The América Hoy host took some time to explain what really happened. According to him, Melissa was given three weeks' leave to solve her personal problems.

“I said it wasn't for that and it wasn't really because of that. She contacted our producer last night and asked him to clarify, which I thank her because throughout my career I have always spoken clearly and truthfully. Melissa Paredes was not separated by the images that everyone saw, she was given three weeks leave,” he said.

Once the former model resolved her issues with Rodrigo Cuba, she had to return to the magazine's leadership, not before committing to not having a relationship with Anthony Aranda, something that she ultimately did not accept and ended up being withdrawn.

“She had to return to driving America Today, however, what we were clear about, what was clear about production and GV was that it would not be accepted that she continue her relationship with Anthony Aranda,” he added.

In that sense, Janet Barboza showed the message she sent to Melissa Paredes to prove that her words were true and that America Today never fired her because of the infidelity scandal, but because of the actions she did after this ampay.

“As proof of it, in addition to production, I write a message to Melissa that I have it here (on my cell phone) and I'm going to show it. This was on October 26th. The production tells me that Melissa was going to return to the show, so I sent her a message,” he said.

The message read as follows: “Meli bella, I was waiting for everything to happen a little bit to write to you. Remember that after the storm the calm comes and the sun comes out, we are waiting for you with open arms.”

Finally, the 'Rulitos' reaffirmed that Melissa Paredes had the opportunity to return to her work; however, she refused him to start a formal relationship with the dancer Anthony Aranda.

“Ladies and gentlemen, Melissa Paredes was going to return to America today as long as she is still alone. Obviously it didn't happen, she preferred Anthony Aranda. Now everything is cleared up so that it does not lend itself to speculation and the issue is closed,” he said.
