A small miscalculation in 'MasterChef': Ramiro and Aida B. had to make 12 snacks and ended up preparing 72

Manuela González and Tatán Mejia stood out in a challenge that resulted in four black aprons

This Thursday there was an atypical challenge in 'MasterChef Celebrity', starting because Carlos was the executioner of some and 'savior' of others in a test that had to be carried out in pairs and that, precisely, the actor who stood out in the challenge of the flavors of Colombia on behalf of his beef cannelloni, chose.

The test consisted of making several canapes, but each one had to represent a time of the three in a meal - starter, strong and dessert - and everyone had to make 12 snacks with the appropriate size and proportion of this type of preparation.

Thus, Isabella Santiago cooked alongside Aida Morales; Aida Bossa with Ramiro Meneses, Estiwar G paired with Chicho Arias; Aco was with Tostao and Tatán shared a kitchen with Manuela González, who demonstrated in this challenge that they are the most stable couple in the competition.

Everyone had 60 minutes, but despite the weather they ran to the pantry, as the preparations required many ingredients. Meanwhile, Carlos was in the lounge appreciating the performance of his teammates, and despite the fact that there were times when he doubted the capabilities of several pairs, in the end he bid for everyone to do well. Tostao and Aco Pérez had several difficulties, which was reflected when they were evaluated by the chefs.

At the end of the time, the evaluation round came, and the first couple to go to the music stand was that of Aida Bossa and Ramiro. Both brought to the front a large number of canapes: 72 in total, even though they had to make only 12. The juries and the rest of the cooks were surprised; but with all that, they were judged and 'cracked', both because of the lack of attention to the instructions prior to the start of the challenge and because of the quantity of products.

After them, Christina and Natalia passed by, who at first already knew that the prawns were going to be criticized because they were not properly cleaned, so the chefs didn't eat them; instead, they did taste other vegan snacks with nuts, but the size was also questioned.

“There were many technical errors,” said Nicolás de Zubiria, an opinion that agreed with that of Jorge Rausch and Christopher Carpentier. Aida Morales and Isabella performed better thanks to their mozzarella canapes with spinach and stuffed egg, but they also scolded them for their large size.

“They are making snacks for a communal hall,” Estiwar G told the camera, but he and Chicho were also cracked because of this aspect, with the difference that they were congratulated on snacks made with potatoes, ripe bananas and pancakes with cream cheese sauce and arequipe, a creation made by Chicho.

Aco and Tost ao had good comments at first, but everything collapsed when the juries arrived at the sweet pasabocas: some pieces of apple inserted in boxes with chocolate. Upon seeing this, Carpentier said it was “nonsense”; in addition, Rausch criticized the tortilla they had presented, stating that it was dry and low in salt.

Manuela and Tatán, the most flattered in the challenge, prepared three types of canapes with the right sizes and with the right ingredients, such as potatoes and fried rice; not to mention the sweet that was prepared with a touch of coffee.

Finally, two couples took the black apron: Aco and Tostao, and Natalia and Christina for their failure with the prawns. The next challenge will be on the field and the contestants will be sparked in the face of a future elimination challenge.
