Every April 23, World Book and Copyright Day is celebrated. This date was established by UNESCO, to commemorate three central authors in world literature: Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra, William Shakespeare and Inca Garcilaso de la Vega.
The love of literature does not remain in books and with the advent of new technologies, many users share their passion for texts on different platforms, including YouTube.
In this community, a specific term is used to designate the creators who dedicate their channels to generating exclusive content for literature: BookTubers. They share on their channels analysis and debates on books, literary genres and related topics. Beyond diversity, there is one element in common: the love of literature.
Here are some BookTubers from Latin America that stand out for the quality of their content and the reach they have with their proposals ranging from reviews, summaries of animated texts and even reading challenges.
On these channels you can also find the classic book hauls (when the authors show the last books they purchased) and tours of their book shelves or book shelf tours. All initiatives that seek to promote interest in texts.
