The U.S. Embassy in Colombia, located in Bogotá, announced that it has opened a new call for jobs for national or foreign professionals who meet all the requirements requested, particularly, living in the country's capital.

Through its website, the Embassy reported that the offers available are for face-to-face work for the positions of Nursing, Human Resources assistants and administrative employees, whose salaries range between 75 and 163 million pesos per year, that is, that the monthly minimum wage would be 6 million. weights.

The consulate of the North American country explained that, for example, for the position of nurse or nurse, they are looking for a candidate with at least two years of professional experience, who has a degree, has a license to practice and has a B2 level of English.

However, the Embassy pointed out that vacancies do not require applicants to be bilingual, but they do require a good level of English, as well as adequate working knowledge, and skills in writing, reading and speaking in Spanish.

In recent days, the National Learning Service (Sena), through its Public Employment Agency, also announced a new call for employment for Colombians who are professionals in the health sector, and who wish to work in the United States.

According to the entity, a US company is looking for 10 nursing assistants to work in the city of Carrington, in the state of North Dakota, who have a technician or technologist in the area and at least one year of experience.

Those interested in applying must have at least an intermediate level of English and meet the following patient care skills:

- To foster social relationships and closeness to keep mental health active.

- Take care of helping to give them meals.

- Technical nursing skills for geriatrics.

- Must possess maturity, emotional stability and critical judgment to help the older adult.

- Channel patients' health difficulties and promote their well-being.

The Senate explained that those who are selected for the job will receive a monthly salary of $2,115, equivalent to 8,461,107 Colombian pesos. The contract will be fixed-term with 24-hour hours that will vary as follows: from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
