Universitario de Deportes reported that it will build a High Performance Center at the Campo Mar 'U' facilities that will promote the formation of the club's minor divisions.
Through a link on their social networks, the crema team published details of the project on their web portal. The construction of the sports training complex will begin on May 16.
The objective of the merengue institution is to improve the infrastructure of the University Sports Village (VIDU) headquarters to develop the lower divisions in “the sports, physical, mental and emotional part” that includes the women's football branch of the club.
“This important work is aimed at strengthening the work of the club's formative football”, quoted the University University and confirmed that the project will be carried out in two stages. He also estimated that the former would have an initial investment of US 350,000 dollars.

WHAT FACILITIES WILL BE BUILT AT VIDU?
After the completion of the modern building, it will have facilities such as a gym, changing rooms, video analysis room, nursing topic, medical rehabilitation room, sports offices, common spaces in the form of an internal square with seating and interior gardens, also with bathrooms for the general public. And rooms, dining room, industrial kitchen and full bathrooms for the different staff of the team.
The club itself stated that the VIDU High Performance Center will be one of the best in South America. The institution also invited private companies to join the project.
THE FIRST TEAM
Universitario will face Sport Boys next Sunday, April 24 at the Monumental de Ate stadium for the 11th date of the Liga 1 Apertura Tournament.
The professional squad will be led by coach Jorge Araujo after the dismissal of Uruguayan Álvaro Gutiérrez after Alianza Lima's 4-1 away defeat in the Peruvian football classic that was played last Sunday.
The merengue team ranks sixth in the Apertura Tournament standings with 16 points with a difference of five units compared to co-leaders Cienciano and Sport Huancayo.
