The Administrative Court of Cundinamarca admitted a popular action calling for the suspension of the national registrar, Alexander Vega, for the irregularities that were reported during the elections on March 13. The judicial authority stated that the official may appeal the ruling, however, while a final decision is made, Vega should withdraw from office and the president should assign an ad hoc registrar.
