Rigoberto Urán uploaded a video in recent hours that has amused his followers, as he almost always does with his occurrences. The rider from Urrao, Antioquia, just finished on Wednesday the second of the Ardennes Classics, the Walloon Arrow where he placed 42° to 51″ seconds behind the Belgian winner Dylan Teuns of Bahrain. Victorious.
The Colombian has gradually added kilometers so far this season in which he has also seen some health complications. Even so, the objectives are well set for the 35-year-old from Antioquia who is also an entrepreneur.
The video shows how several of his teammates descend from the team bus in uniform and apparently with the intention of going to train while at the end Rigo comes down in an elegant suit saying “that's how he works too”.

Urán has been known throughout his sports career for being very disciplined with his training and commitments to the teams he has belonged to, being one of the riders with the best “qualifications” and results in the most important races in the history of Colombian cycling.
An example is the silver medal he won in 2012 during the London Olympics, the two runners-up at the 2013 Giro d'Italia and 2014 where he was defeated by Vincenzo Nibali and his compatriot Nairo Quintana respectively.
In addition, in 2017, he managed to climb to the second place on the podium at the Tour de France, in which he also won a stage victory. In 2021 he forged two Olympic diplomas by placing 8th in both the road and chrono events in his presentation in the colors of the Colombian Cycling Team.

For this season he makes his progressive preparation in order to arrive in the best possible state to face the Tour de France for the 9th time in his sports career. There he will be looking to be among the strongest cyclists, probably like Tadej Pogacar, current two-time champion of the gala round, Vingegaard of Jumbo Visma, Nairo Quintana from Arkea Samsic, among others such as Roglic who already has three titles from Vuelta España in a row.
Until this season, Urán has a contract with EF Education EasyPost, a North American team he has been a member of for 7 years and with which he has achieved good results at different times and races. It is still unknown whether the Colombian will decide to continue cycling for at least another season or if he will definitely dedicate himself to his business GoriGoGo.
His next competition will be this April 24 during the development of the 108th edition of the Liège Bastogne Liege where he has competed for 7 occasions with the 15th place being the best he has achieved.
In that race he will also face other of his compatriots such as Santiago Buitrago of Bahrain Victorious, Daniel Martínez of Ineos Grenadiers, possibly Sergio Higuita del Bora, Winner Anacona of Arkea and Jesús David Pela of the Bike Exchange.
