These have been days of complete happiness for the Montaner and Echeverry families. On April 9, the couple formed by artists Camilo and Evaluna announced that their first daughter, a girl named Indigo, was born. Although several of the details of the child's birth have been kept private, relatives have been talking about the special things of that time. Ricardo Montaner will be performing in Bogotá on April 30 and, therefore, has been giving several statements to the Colombian national press. In addition to talking about her concert tour, she has dedicated spaces to talk about the newborn.

As you can imagine, this house, even our breath these days, is called Indigo. Indigo is not a song and it is not a dream, it is already a reality, so I wanted to thank them for so many messages of affection that they have sent us to the whole family,” said Ricardo Montaner in a video that he shared with his followers through the stories on his Instagram account. In an interview with Caracol Radio, Montaner said that his granddaughter was born at night and that Camilo, the girl's father, had everything ready for the birth of his daughter and to support his wife, Evaluna, in her birth.

“He was born at night, everything had been destined for his arrival and we noticed that he reacts to the stimulus of the music right away,” he told the station. When he first spoke about the girl, he said he was excited and couldn't wait to see her grow up and accompany him, and the rest of the family, to give concerts around the world. In recent days, Montaner expressed his sadness that he had to stay away from her, for a while, because of her professional projects. “It's only been a few days since she was born and we are already facing our first separation, I miss her and I just left her at home with her parents, returning is my next goal in life,” she wrote on her Twitter account.

Evaluna gave birth to Indigo at her home. She decided that her birth would be totally natural, without the classic medical care that is given in hospital delivery rooms. Marlene, mother of the singer and actress, collaborated as a midwife in the birth of her granddaughter. In an interview revealed by 'People Magazine' magazine, Marlene said she had prepared enough to take on that role. He said: “I took the full Doula course, because I wanted to know in depth what that meant (...) I feel it's perfect to go back to the time of the midwives.”

“Indigo was born. God was present every second of the birth in our home. She's a happy and curious girl. Evaluna is the strongest, most virtuous, and bravest woman who has ever set foot on this planet. All my respect, my service and my dedication to the queen of this house (...) Excited, the singer added: “Thank you for all your messages, your prayers and the spurts of love and light that you have sent here! La Tribu grew up (Dropping the phone again to take another nap the 3),” Camilo wrote on his social networks.

The publication was accompanied by photographs in which Camilo is seen holding the girl's feet and hugging Evaluna in the middle of her birth. Likewise, the Colombian musician shared a video showing part of the girl's chest, and one of her arms, while he sings' Indigo 'to her, the song he dedicated to her before her birth and with which he warned the world that he would become a dad.
