Mexico is a country that is unsafe for women, according to the figures — which indicate that at the national level there have been 748 missing persons — despite this, some politicians have tried to minimize the situation by attributing it to problems of communication with the family.

In the midst of terror over the recent disappearances of women in Nuevo León, the state prosecutor, Gustavo Adolfo Guerrero, has mentioned that the rebelliousness of young women is the main cause of this phenomenon.

“The main cause of disappearances of women is due to lack of communication between the family, anger between them, the rebelliousness of young people, because the age span of women is from 14 to 25 years, it is the majority of people, of women who disappear, but it is not derived from a crime, but it is a voluntary decision,” he said in interview.
