The Electric Reform provoked profound quarrels among the members of the different parties, as the struggle of ideas for and against this initiative, which was ultimately rejected by the opposition, became increasingly constant and, although the vote is over, the remarks continue.
Now it was the deputy of the National Regeneration Movement (Morena), Andrea Chavez, who lashed out against the members of the opposition bloc, whom she insisted on calling “traitors to the homeland”, for allegedly selling the country.
“The 223 federal deputies of the PRIANRDMC are #TRAIDORES_A_LA_PATRIA. Today, four days after their betrayal, they have not yet given a single argument to justify the meaning of their vote. They were sold, there is no more,” said the member of the party cherry.
This message was harshly criticized by Twitter users, including National Action Party (PAN) Senator Lilly Tellez, who has shown herself to be a strong opponent of Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) and his Fourth Transformation (Q4).
Now, the Sonoran legislator lashed out against Chávez, whom she called a “prominent liar”, for demonstrating servility towards the Tabasqueño. In addition, he took the opportunity to criticize his partner, the Spaniard Abraham Mendieta, Morena's advisor.
“This deputy @AndreaChavezTre is a prominent liar and has brought her servility to the level of servitude... but even for defending the corrupt law Bartlett does she deserve to be punished with that degenerate charlatan who has for her boyfriend... mercy for her,” Tellez commented.
These criticisms came after the Chihuahua native boasted her relationship with Mendieta on the occasion of her birthday on April 19. “It has been an honor to share these historic times of transformation on your side. I'm lucky to have you as my life partner. Happy new return to the sun adored @abrahamendieta”, celebrated the Morenista.
For his part, Abraham Mendieta also took the opportunity to launch himself against the deputies of the opposition bloc, who predicted the end of his political career because he rejected the Electricity Reform that seeks to empower the CFE to distribute energy in Mexico.
“It was very expensive politically for the #TRAIDORES_A_LA_PATRIA to have voted against the people of Mexico and against national sovereignty. I believe that every vote against should represent one less political race, enough of money servants in public office,” wrote the Spaniard.
It is worth remembering that Andrea Chávez, the youngest deputy in Morena's history, has been acclaimed by López Obrador himself, who declared during a morning conference from the National Palace that he could safely retire from politics because there is already a generational change.
“When I see my namesake Andrea arguing in the Chamber of Deputies, who is 24 years old, 25 years old, it gives me great pleasure, I can retire peacefully, I can leave alone because, like her, there are many others, there is a generational change, that is the best thing that can be provided,” said the Mexican president .
The young deputy was born one women's day, on March 8, in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, she studied law at the Autonomous University of Ciudad Juárez (UACJ) and from there exercised his political life as a member of student committees.
Within her political career, she has participated in groups such as 4Q Feminists and Feminist Network for Transformation, as well as having been a parliamentary advisor to the Senate of the Republic.
She comes from one of the municipalities in Mexico that has been most affected in recent decades by violence against women, so she included this problem in the speech she gave when she took office in the Chamber of Deputies.
