Following in the footsteps of Luisito Comunica and other influencers who have decided to explore their business facet, youtuber and model Juanpa Zurita announced through his social networks a new project he has been working on for almost a year: a taqueria at home. According to the driver, La Milagrosa will be present exclusively on the Rappi delivery application in Mexico, Colombia and Peru.

After 359 days, we can finally announce “LA MILAGROSA” When I leave Mexico, they are what I miss the most. The dream of bringing the taco to the world begins today with Peru and Colombia. Obviously also in Mexico. Soon more Order them exclusively on Rappi Taquiza,” wrote the young content creator on his Twitter account.

The news sparked all sorts of opinions on social networks because although the fans of Juanpa Zurita, whom he called Zuricatas, applauded this new step in the influencer's career, there were also many other netizens who criticized the concept and prices of the 26-year-old youtuber's project. In this way, the funny and always reliable memes were present.

With the incursion of new delivery applications, the concept of the Dark Kitchen has become popular among the food business. This model consists of the production of food exclusively for home sale; in this way, the restaurant is limited only to preparing and shipping its products, completely waiving the resources that a traditional restaurant requires, such as tables, chairs, waiters, etc.

This trading system has positioned itself as a digital company, which commonly forms an alliance with a food brand that intends to enter this new mode of business. Thus, Dark Kitchens make kitchen facilities available to brands where food can be prepared for later distribution through applications that provide delivery services such as Uber Eats, Rappi or Didi Food.

Juanpa Zurita decided to try his luck with this business model and, in this way, on his Instagram account he made a detailed presentation of La Milagrosa to publicize his product and concept, which consists of 13 hidden kitchens in several cities in the countries where the taqueria will operate.

On social networks, users criticized the concept of Juanpa Zurita's new project, arguing how absurd it can be to order tacos at home when, as it is a dish so popular in Mexico, you can find a taqueria in every corner of the country. However, being an international business and having a presence in some Latin American countries, they compared La Milagrosa to other food chains such as Taco Bell, so they questioned the taste and quality of the products.

Additionally, what caused the most controversy were the food prices that the influencer's new taqueria manages, because along with the announcement, Juanpa Zurita shared the menu, where it could be seen that each taco costs 45 pesos per piece, they will also sell the famous crusts in 131 pesos as well as tickets, drinks and desserts.

The truth is absurd to me the price better let's buy from those who always pass by our houses”; “Chi, we help people who go out more, in my opinion”; “Is there anything lower than putting tacos in boxes?” , were some comments against the Mexican influencer.

It is worth mentioning that this is not the first business with which Juanpa Zurita has sought to put to work the money that his career as a youtuber and influencer has left him. On previous occasions he tried his luck with other internet celebrities with the Water People project, whose intention was to sell bottled water in chains of self-service stores, however, he was severely criticized as network users accused him of stealing this resource from Mexican communities that take advantage of it and share rather than privatize it for sale.

Similarly, with the announcement of this new project, the rumor of the alleged scam that he committed after the earthquake of September 19, 2017, was reignited, in which he was accused of having kept the money he collected to help the victims of Ocuilan, State of Mexico.

So far the influencer has not responded to any type of comment, nor has he provided any statements about it.
