Claudio X. González, businessman and founder of the organization Sí por México, attacked Citlalli Hernández, secretary general of the National Regeneration Movement (Morena), following statements to legislators who reversed President Andrés Manuel's Electric Reform López Obrador (AMLO) on April 17 in the Chamber of Deputies.

Through his Twitter account, a platform where he has constantly expressed his discontent towards the administration of López Obrador, his project of the nation self-described as the Fourth Transformation (Q4) and the members of the cherry party; the businessman said he was “proudly traitor to the homeland”.

In one image, with Hernández Mora in the background, the businessman said: “If I were a legislator, I would have voted against the LIE. I don't want an autocratic government. I don't want the SCJN and Congress subjected to the whims of a tyrant. I don't want us to be governed by a bunch of people unable to exercise critical thinking, I don't want a government that, far from creating, destroys everything. Therefore, according to Morena's hosts, I am proudly #TRAIDOR A LA PATRIA. What are you waiting for, Citlalli, to join the list of the 223 noble deputies who defended Mexico? #YoSoy224

It is worth mentioning that the Tabasqueño initiative was dismissed after Morena did not reach a qualified majority in the face of a vote of 275 in favor, 223 against and zero abstentions,

After the setback to the initiative of the Chief Executive, Citlalli Hernández and Mario Delgado, Morena's national leader, announced that they would start a campaign to inform citizens who were the legislators who voted against, who they called “traitors to the homeland”.

We want people to see the faces and names of traitors, so that we never forget who turned their backs on the people. In addition, we are going to ask our deputies to hold assemblies in which they inform Mexicans. Let them know that, if the Electricity Reform had been approved, the Constitution would already establish a cheaper tariff scheme for families, companies and for municipalities in public lighting,” explained Delgado Carrillo.

For his part, Hernández Mora commented that this campaign is “in defense of national sovereignty”, so public squares in the districts they represent will have “walls of ignominy” so that “it is known what was voted and who voted against”.

In addition, after resuming her duties as senator in support of the reform of the Mining Law on April 19, the Morenista clashed with the pianist Lilly Tellez and during her speech she said: “We maintain that those who voted against an Energy Reform that favored the interests of this country are ' traitors to the homeland'. That is not bulletining, that is not an attack on anyone's existence, that is to say what we believe.”

Likewise, Morena's secretary general insisted that her intentions to show legislators is not a campaign of hate, because, according to her statements, the deputies of the opposition bloc “don't know what people think.”

“Saying 'traitors to the homeland' is not the same as calling hatred or calling aggression. You have spread hatred and we are not going to let you accuse us of the same thing,” Hernández Mora told Lilly Tellez.
