A fight broke out in the middle of a cannabis celebration at Hyde Park in London (England)

A shocking and violent moment was experienced during the celebration of 4/20 (April 20), or World Cannabis Day, in London, when hundreds of people gathered in Hyde Park to express their love for marijuana.

In the middle of the annual celebration, a fight broke out that was recorded by the cameras of several people present.

In known videos, a man is seen brutally beating a woman while she is lying on the ground. She desperately tries to push him away while the aggressor continually punches him.

One of the most striking details of the images is that while the couple struggles on the ground, the crowd around them is just filming the altercation, without anyone trying to stop the fight.

In fact, in the background there seems to be another fight in which two girls would be involved.

A woman finally intervenes and tries to remove the man from the woman by pulling her coat.

Just hours later, police invaded nearby Oxford Street to arrest allegedly armed protesters, including one with a machete, in an isolated incident.

The London Metropolitan Police later confirmed that ten people were arrested for various acts of violence and various crimes including possession of a knife, fighting, possession of drugs and possession of an offensive weapon.

A Section 35 Dispersal Order was also implemented until 2 a.m. to evacuate the crowds that remained in the park.

“This was a proportionate response to a large crowd that left the park, some involved in assaults, with a machete and a recovered knife, along with a feather duster,” said Police Superintendent Dan.

“Everything is calm now. Ten arrests made,” he added.

Hundreds of marijuana smokers lit up yesterday to celebrate 4/20, which is celebrated on April 20 each year, a tradition that began in the United States and has now spread around the world turning digits into a symbol of cannabis culture.

The maximum penalty for possession of cannabis in the UK is five years in prison and an unlimited fine.

If they find someone with cannabis, they can expose them an immediate fine of £90, that is, about $118.
