In the pre-match warm-up to Sunday, April 17 between Boca Juniors and Lanús, Colombian left-back Frank Fabra suffered a heavy blow coming out of the dressing room to the grass of the La Bombonera stadium in Buenos Aires.

The bad trick that the 31-year-old Antioquia footballer suffered occurred precisely when the voice of the stadium announced that caution was taken to avoid accidents in the stands.

Fabra was driven by the moment of his climb running up the stands of the tunnel where the players and coaching staff xeneize enter and pass in each game as a local.

Unaware of the low height between stairs and ceiling after one of these breaks, Fabra was stunned for approximately 10 seconds while touching his head after impact with concrete.

His teammates, Dario Benedetto and Sebastián Villa passed immediately after the coup and patted him on the back to cheer him up before the clash against Lanús, which started at 5:00pm Colombian time on Sunday.

The video was published by the Buenos Aires club's TikTok fan page @c .a.b.j.campeon12, which managed to capture the moment when each footballer jumped onto the pitch greeting teammates and members of the coaching staff.

Below are the images of the misfortune suffered by the left marker from Nechí, Antioquia:

Well, after such a blow to the head, Fabra performed optimally and better than expected. It seems that the blow to his head had no effect in the long run on his concentration on the pitch, beyond the momentary pain experienced by the Colombian national team player, considering that he assisted the first goal of the night for Boca, with a goal pass that he gave to his compatriot, Sebastián Villa.

At minute six of the engagement, Fabra projected down his lane with a filtered pass between the lines and Sebastian was able to accommodate a creeping and corner shot on the left hand stick of goalkeeper Fernando Monetti, who was unable to react to Villa's shot at the start of the game.

With both Colombians on the court, Boca tried to test mid-distance to go up on the scoreboard by a greater margin of difference. However, at 25′ the local suffered the draw that sentenced the course of the match there at the end of the match.

Brian Aguirre was able to assist the experienced José Pepe Sand inside the area and, without a shot angle, Lanús number 9 put the 1-1 on the slate.

This was the tie between the two teams, with the participation of fellow Colombian Jorman Campuzano as a substitute for Óscar Romero in the 46th minute:

At the moment, Boca Juniors is fourth in zone 2 of the standings of the Argentine Professional League Cup with 17 points. His next match will be on Wednesday, April 20 (also in home condition) against Godoy Cruz. The team led by Sebastián Battaglia will surely count on the participation of Colombians: Frank Fabra, Sebastián Villa and Jorman Campuzano.
