One of the most media rivalries during 2021 was that of Pierre Gasly against Checo Pérez, who practically declared war on the basis of his comparative statements, with the aim of destabilizing and putting pressure on Red Bull about a possible future relay.

Specifically, the French driver has wanted Sergio's position before it was announced and has been responsible for making it public on several occasions, something that has not gone unnoticed by the headquarters in Milton Keynes, where instead of discrediting or silencing his statements, they have decided to use them for other purposes.

The last of them was through a short film with Sergio Pérez as the protagonist, in which absolutely no one expected the name Gasly to come up, since the video of 11 minutes was completely focused on the Mexican driver, Christian Horner and the Miami Grand Prix.

It was during the 2:45 minute, when during the small fiction Checo Pérez he was infringed for parking in an illegal space. Within the narrative of the story, Horner learns about this situation through a publication by @chinatown_phil, where a police officer is seen issuing the fine.

The funny thing about the matter and where Red Bull's dart is that, to this alleged publication, Pierre Gasly would have already given him “Like”, because he would have been glad that something bad happened to Sergio on board Red Bull, so users on social networks highlighted this fictitious Like and echoed the supposed mockery of the I would shield Pierre because of his sporting hatred of tapatio.

A sector of fans interpreted this part of the short film as a nod to a Gasly custom on social networks and very famous in Europe, as it is known that the French conductor usually likes all kinds of publications, which is why the phrase “Liked by Pierre Gasly”, which in Spanish means “Like Pierre Gasly”.

Because both theories are viable, it is possible that Red Bull has decided to play the double sense with the “Like”, since this is the only publication of several that showed where Pierre Gasly's Like appears, coincidentally at the only moment where something negative happens to the driver who wants to take his seat away.

The one who explained this situation through social networks was the strategic communication consultant, Alberto Tello de Meneses, who explained that Red Bull plays with both possibilities to maintain “satire sharply”, since he emphasizes that Gasly's Like only appears at Perez's tragic moment.

In this way, Red Bull maintains in good tone the sporting rivalry that could exist between the two riders for a seat in the first team of Red Bull, because even the team's chief advisor, Helmut Marko, has openly declared that the Frenchman has the possibility of returning, with a previous comparative analysis with what made by Sergio Pérez.

This documentary was released by Red Bull last Tuesday, April 19, where they used the image of Checo Pérez to begin the promotion of the Miami GP and the Austrian team in the United States, where the jaliscian arrives as the main Latin American reference and giving signs that he could extend his link with the Bulls.
