The famous Mexican journalist Juan José Origel, better known as Pepillo, is once again in the eye of the hurricane. After denying an alleged affair with Eduardo Verástegui, he was recently accused of committing sexual abuse of a minor.
This situation began when influencer Peraki Soto declared for an interview with show journalist Luis Magaña that he had an intimate sexual encounter with Origel when he was just 17 years old.
In the talk, the content creator expressed that he lived a complex childhood, as he was adopted by the family of a famous actor, who decided not to mention his name. Although his parents gave him arduous support, Soto confirmed that he got together with bad influences, which led him to fall for drugs.
“I started in the world of drugs when I was 15, they (their adoptive parents) didn't realize it because I was very smart at that time so they wouldn't notice, (...) I started to get involved with people more adult than me,” Peraki said.
He also related that after being rushed from home due to the substances he consumed, he became involved with people who put him into the world of prostitution, so he attended various parties in the homes of famous people with the need to get money for his drugs.
“When I arrived at this house, inside this door was the person named Juan José Origel, better known as Pepe Origel, in which I had to give him a service,” said Peraki.
It was before these statements that Pepillo answered forcefully in the morning Sun Sale and stressed that people who know him very closely know how he has acted in his personal life, so negative statements have no greater relevance.
“Everyone who really knows me knows who I am and what I do and how far I go, don't they? So, the rest doesn't matter, I'm really not going to do anything. A lot of people tell me: 'Do this, do that'. I'm not going to do anything, absolutely, you believe in me, thank you very much. You don't, then, no way,” said Origel.
He even said that it is beneficial for people to continue talking and speculating about him, since that means that it is still in force in the medium: “Let the dogs bark, because that means we are still walking”, he closed.
It should be noted that previously, Peraki claimed that he made formal attempts to report this alleged abuse. However, he revealed that the responses have been negative, so now he only tells his story through social networks with the aim of raising awareness among all people who perform and hire sexual services with minors.
Finally, during Sale el Sol, journalist Gustavo Adolfo Infante rejected these claims, since he considered that it is not right to make accusations of this degree when the source is not reliable.
“I think you also can't open the microphone to anyone, how do you know this is real, how do you give it input, I wouldn't do it. I personally, Luis Magaña, have known you for 35 years, but it seems to me, personally, what you did in fifth class, I would not have done it,” said the journalist in Sale el Sol.
